Bronze out of reach? Single-moment options are available: coffee break, lunch, badges and lanyards, giveaway gifts, or talk recording. Write to sponsors@mdnog.md and we will find the right fit.
The same model as NANOG, RONOG and DENOG: year-round exchange plus one peer-reviewed technical conference a year. For ISPs and WISPs, telecom, hosting and data-center operators, and the engineers inside banks and institutions.
Talks are technical and product-free. That neutrality is what gives a NOG its credibility, and it is non-negotiable.
Run by the community, funded by sponsors and partners. Nobody pays at the door.
Linked to RIPE, ICANN, the Global NOG Alliance and neighbouring NOGs like RONOG.
A representative cross-section of the Moldovan operator scene showed up to the first meetup. The conference in October is the next step.
Engineers from these organizations have already confirmed their participation at MDNOG 1. More to come.
Several of them are on stage. See the programme.
The full agenda is published after the call for presentations closes. The shape is fixed: a full technical day, then a half day and the closing party.
A complete day of peer-reviewed talks and panels: operations, routing and peering, security, automation and infrastructure. The core programme.
A lighter morning of sessions and discussion, leading into the closing networking party, where most of the real connections get made.
Every submission is read by the programme committee, which selects the agenda on technical merit alone. The committee is being assembled now, and more members will be announced.
Network engineer and founder of MDNOG. Runs ITcare, a Moldovan network engineering and managed services company, and works across ISP and enterprise infrastructure.
CTO of Trabia, a Moldovan data center and hosting operator working in colocation, cloud and IP transit. Background across data center and IP networks, previously at StarNet.
More members to be announced. Want to help review? The committee is open to experienced operators from across the region. Get in touch.
MDNOG runs on what operators bring to the room. If you have run into something, built something, broken something, or measured something on a real network, that is a talk. First-time speakers are welcome, and the committee will help you shape a strong submission.
Every submission needs an abstract, as text or as a Word, PDF or PowerPoint file. Slides can come later. Talks are recorded and published afterwards unless you ask us not to.
No product pitches. Vendors are welcome on stage when the talk is about the technology, not the sale. Sponsors get their space off-stage. This is what keeps the room honest.
MDNOG is free to attend and community-owned. Sponsorship keeps it that way. No paid marketing slots. Gold and Host include one technical talk slot, reviewed and accepted by the programme committee on the same criteria as every other talk. Attendee data is never sold or shared.
Exhibition tables are limited in number and allocated on availability, in order of confirmed sponsorship.
The closing party is free for registered attendees but capacity-limited, as a rule two places per organization. Sponsor passes are guaranteed. General attendee places are confirmed in registration order, so register early.
Venue, network, AV, recording, catering or the party can be covered in kind instead of cash, with the same recognition as the matching tier.
We'll email you the full pack with tiers, deliverables and audience reach.
Request the sponsor pack: sponsors@mdnog.md. We only use your details to send the pack and follow up.
Free to attend, registration required. The venue is planned for up to 200 participants. We only use your details to organize the event.
Registrations are reviewed by the MDNOG team to keep the event within its operator-community scope. You will receive a confirmation email once yours is approved.
